Lugo officials coordinate on Campo da Feira de Nadela and Sagrado Corazón projects

In Lugo, local and regional authorities are coordinating on urban and rural development projects. The Mayor of Lugo, Elena Candia, met with the Regional Minister for Rural Affairs, María José Gómez, to discuss the improvement of the Campo da Feira de Nadela. The project involves an investment of approximately 413,470 euros to modernize the historic fairground, which has operated since 1865. Planned works include building a new covered stall, improving sanitation, electricity, and water services, and upgrading accessibility and drainage.

Separately, the PSOE has called on Mayor Candia to demand that the Xunta de Galicia take full responsibility for the Sagrado Corazón site. The political group is urging the administration to incorporate the entire plot into an integral project that includes a health center, a nursery school, and a sociocultural center to serve the local neighborhood.
