GameChange Energy tops solar tracker markets in India, Africa and APAC; Huawei and Sungrow lead inverter rankings

GameChange Energy, a global solar‑tracker infrastructure firm, was placed first in India, Africa, the Asia‑Pacific region and second worldwide in Wood Mackenzie’s latest Global Solar Tracker Market Share Report. CEO Phillip Vyhanek described the ranking as a validation of the company’s technology and regional focus.

In a separate Wood Mackenzie assessment of solar inverter manufacturers for 2026, Chinese firms Huawei and Sungrow retained the top two positions for the second consecutive year, with SMA third. The ranking evaluated manufacturers on criteria such as post‑sale service, R&D, supply‑chain stability, ESG performance, financial strength and increasingly, cyber‑security readiness, reflecting buyers’ growing emphasis on long‑term reliability and regulatory compliance.
