Gandhinagar students participate in 87th Fit India Sundays on Cycle

School children participated in the 87th edition of Fit India Sundays on Cycle at Swarn Jayanti Park in Gandhinagar, Gujarat. The event, themed ‘Unnat Bharat Abhiyan’, featured students from Om Landmark School and Green Valley School for Children.

Activities included warm-up sessions, fitness challenges such as push-up competitions, and various games including badminton, volleyball, chess, and carrom. The program also included cultural performances and a presentation on basic finance. Following these activities, participants cycled within the Sports Authority of India (SAI) National Centre of Excellence campus.

Organized by the Sports Authority of India and the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports in collaboration with several federations, the initiative was launched by Union Sports Minister Mansukh Mandaviya in December 2024. The cycling drive is conducted simultaneously across various States and Union Territories.
