Gandia advances Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan
The city of Gandia is progressing with its Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan (PMUS), a strategic document designed to reorganize urban movement across various neighborhoods, El Grau, and the beach area.
The plan analyzes public transport, parking, pedestrian routes, and traffic circulation. It is based on data from population surveys, traffic counts, and parking occupancy studies to address current mobility difficulties and improve alternatives such as bus frequencies and bicycle accessibility.
Following a review by the Environmental Commission, the plan will move to the City Council for provisional approval. Once approved, a public exhibition period will allow citizens, associations, and entities to review the content and submit proposals or allegations before final approval.
