Various Japanese food establishments and regional festivals are launching seasonal promotions and collaborations in October 2026.

In the dining sector, Maruei Food Tech’s “Ganso Butadonya TONTON” will host a “TONTON Day” on October 10, offering limited pork bowls for 10 yen. Ramen chains are also active: Ikakuya is collaborating with the “Ranma 1/2” anime series with themed menus and merchandise; Raamen Kagetsu Arashi is partnering with Asahikawa’s “Hachiya” to serve limited-edition ramen featuring charred lard; and Ichibanken is releasing an upgraded “Taiwan Tonkotsu Ramen” with increased minced meat.

In Hiroshima, TOCOTON1 has introduced a limited-time “Mala Miso Tonkotsu Ramen” using local ingredients like Ishimi pork. Meanwhile, in Akita Prefecture, the 54th Odate Kiritanpo Festival has commenced at Nipro Hachiko Dome, featuring approximately 120 stalls selling local specialties and regional gourmet foods.
