Hajj lottery Turkey Diyanet Saudi quota e-Devlet

The Directorate of Religious Affairs (Diyanet) conducted the 2027 Hajj lottery on 22 July 2026 at 10:30 a.m. in the 15 July Milli İrade Şehit Ali Alıtkan Conference Hall in Ankara, under notary and press supervision. About 1,878,046 Turkish applicants were entered, competing for the 84,942 pilgrim quota allocated by Saudi Arabia.

The draw was livestreamed on Diyanet’s official YouTube channel. Results were made available that evening at 20:00 hours via the e‑Devlet portal and by SMS. Successful candidates must complete their definitive registration online between 30 July and 18 August. Travel for the pilgrimage is scheduled for 17 April–11 May outbound and 20 May–15 June return.

The process aims to ensure transparency, allowing the public to follow the draw live and to verify their status through government digital services.
