Garmin expands lineup with advanced Edge bike computers and upcoming Fenix 9 wearables
Garmin’s Edge series of bicycle computers continue to offer integrated GPS navigation, support for GLONASS and Galileo satellite constellations, and connectivity with external sensors such as power meters, heart‑rate and cadence monitors. The devices also pair with the Garmin Connect app for live notifications, ride sharing and data analysis, and can control Garmin Varia safety accessories.
Separate rumors suggest Garmin is preparing to launch two new smartwatches, the Fenix 9 and Fenix 9 Pro, possibly alongside the Enduro 4. The Pro model may be offered in 43 mm and 47 mm sizes and could support LTE, satellite messaging and solar or AMOLED displays, while the standard Fenix 9 is expected to retain GPS and long‑lasting battery features. Exact release dates have not been confirmed.
Both pieces highlight Garmin’s ongoing development of feature‑rich, fitness‑focused hardware for cyclists and outdoor athletes.
