Garmin Forerunner 170 and Huawei Watch GT Runner 2 unveiled for serious runners

Garmin introduced the Forerunner 170, a lightweight 41‑gram GPS running watch with a 1.2‑inch AMOLED display, barometric altimeter, Garmin Pay, multi‑GNSS tracking and personalized coaching plans. It offers water resistance to 5 ATM and a battery life suited for daily training and other sports.

Huawei released the Watch GT Runner 2, featuring a 1.32‑inch 3 000‑nit AMOLED screen, titanium case, a dedicated marathon mode, dual‑GPS, Curve Pay contact‑less payments and up to 14 days of battery life. The device also provides extensive health tracking, 100+ sport profiles and 5 ATM water resistance.
