Garuda Indonesia offers 170,000 free domestic seats to international travelers

Garuda Indonesia has announced a program offering 170,845 free domestic roundtrip seats to eligible international passengers. The initiative targets travelers flying from 14 origin cities across 10 different countries.

Available for travel between 1 August and 30 November 2026, the program allows passengers with international roundtrip tickets to Indonesia to add a domestic journey to their itinerary at no extra cost. The airline aims to encourage tourists to visit destinations beyond major gateways like Jakarta and Denpasar, promoting longer stays and a wider distribution of tourism spending throughout the archipelago.

In addition to international tourists, the program is intended to provide better connectivity for the Indonesian diaspora, migrant workers, and citizens returning from abroad to their home regions.
