Garuda Indonesia offers free domestic flights for international travelers

Garuda Indonesia has launched the ‘Discover More Indonesia’ campaign, offering 170,845 complimentary round-trip domestic seats to international passengers. To qualify, travelers must purchase an eligible international return ticket to Jakarta or Bali.

The program is valid for travel through 30 November 2026. By integrating the airline’s international and domestic networks, the initiative aims to encourage tourists to travel beyond major gateways like Denpasar and Jakarta to explore more diverse regions of the Indonesian archipelago.

Marketing group head Prina Eka Putri stated the program is designed to incentivize longer stays and multi-destination travel. Additionally, Agny Gallus Pratama, Southeast Asia branch manager, noted the initiative seeks to spread economic benefits to local businesses, including hotels, transportation, and culinary MSMEs, by expanding tourism activity to various regions.
