Garut teacher accused of physical and verbal abuse against student

A middle school student in Wanaraja, Garut Regency, is alleged to have been subjected to physical and verbal violence by a female teacher. The incident reportedly stemmed from a fight between the student and another pupil, who is the child of the teacher involved.

The victim's family claims that instead of resolving the dispute through school counseling services, the teacher approached the student in their classroom and allegedly slapped, hit, and insulted them.

The family has taken the student to RSUD dr. Slamet Garut for medical examinations and a forensic autopsy (visum) to document the injuries. A formal report has been filed with the Wanaraja Police to initiate an investigation into the matter.
