Gary Oldman claims next James Bond has been selected

Actor Gary Oldman has claimed that producers have already selected the next James Bond, though an official announcement from Amazon MGM Studios has not yet been made. During an interview on Canada’s The Morning Show, Oldman expressed his support for his ‘Slow Horses’ co-star Jack Lowden, stating, “They have picked him. They have made their choice, but they have not announced it yet. So my fingers are crossed for Jack.”

While Oldman’s comments have fueled intense speculation, Amazon MGM Studios has declined to comment on the casting process. Lowden remains a prominent name in the ongoing search to succeed Daniel Craig. Other actors frequently mentioned in casting rumors include Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Callum Turner, Jacob Elordi, and Harris Dickinson.

The upcoming Bond installment will be directed by Denis Villeneuve, with a screenplay written by Steven Knight. The production is being led by Amy Pascal and David Heyman as the franchise enters a new era under Amazon MGM’s creative direction.
