Gas pipeline repair in Herten‑Süd leads to partial road closure

The Hertener Stadtwerke will carry out repair work on a low‑pressure gas main in the Herten‑Süd district of Germany after a leak was detected. Work starts on Monday, 8 June, and is expected to last around four weeks. The section of In der Feige street at house number 94 will be partially closed, with the carriageway blocked on one side and the sidewalk unavailable. Temporary zebra crossings will be installed to allow pedestrians to cross safely. Access from Sophienstraße to In der Feige will be blocked, and parking and stopping bans apply around the site. Residents and road users have been asked to allow for the disruptions.
