Gas Sales Bluenergy Piacenza defeats Modena 4-0 in preseason friendly

Gas Sales Bluenergy Piacenza secured a 4-0 victory against Valsa Group Modena in their third preseason friendly match held at PalabancaSport. The set scores were 25-18, 25-21, 25-23, and 25-20.

This match marked Piacenza's first test against a SuperLega opponent following previous wins against lower-category teams Campobasso and Belluno. While the friendly does not award league points, it serves as a critical evaluation period for coach Dante Boninfante. The team is currently managing several absences due to players participating in national team duties.

Key performers included Paolo Porro and Nicolò Zlatanov, with Comparoni also showing strong technical form. The match provided an opportunity to test the team's service systems and secondary lineups. The two teams are scheduled to meet again in a competitive SuperLega match on October 25.
