Gas Sales Bluenergy Volley Piacenza begins preseason test matches

Gas Sales Bluenergy Volley Piacenza has entered the fourth week of its preseason preparation for the 2026-2027 championship. The team is scheduled to participate in two open test matches at PalabancaSport to evaluate physical condition and tactical mechanisms.

The first match will take place on Wednesday, September 16, against EnergyTime Campobasso, a Serie A3 team. The second test match is set for Saturday, September 19, against Belluno Volley, which competes in Serie A2. Both events are open to the public with free admission.

Currently, ten first-team players are available for training, including Paolo Porro, Dragan Travica, Miguel Gutierrez, Manuel Zlatanov, Nikola Brboric, Alessandro Bovolenta, Henri Leon, Francesco Comparoni, Domenico Pace, and Francesco Rizzo. They are joined by youth sector players Luca Fraleone, Manuel Bozzetti, and Francesco Destro. Player Dragan Travica noted a positive atmosphere and emphasized the importance of these matches to regain match rhythm while waiting for teammates currently serving with national teams.
