Gateway Mining discovers 7km gold trend in Western Australia

Gateway Mining has identified a 7-kilometre-long gold anomaly at its Ward prospect, located within the Yandal gold project in Western Australia. The discovery was made through a reconnaissance aircore drilling campaign targeting the regional-scale Celia Shear.

Drilling results yielded high-grade intercepts, including a best result of 4 metres assaying 4 grams per tonne (g/t) of gold from a depth of 88 metres. Other notable hits included 4 metres at 3.7 g/t gold from 96 metres and 4 metres at 3.2 g/t gold from 60 metres.

The findings suggest potential strike continuity between the Ward prospect and the company’s existing Cowza and Celia South gold trends. If connected, these zones could form a combined anomalous strike of at least 13 kilometres. CEO Richard Pugh noted that the results highlight the exploration potential across the company’s broader project portfolio.
