Gautam Adani says US legal challenges cleared, pivots to AI‑driven infrastructure growth

Gautam Adani, chairman of the Adani Group, announced that the legal matters the conglomerate faced in the United States are now resolved. The group is shifting its focus to the next phase of development, accelerating investments in energy, transportation, logistics and digital infrastructure.

Adani highlighted the role of artificial intelligence in driving demand for power generation, transmission networks, data centres and logistics infrastructure. The company plans major capital spending, including a 5.1 GW addition to renewable capacity, a 5 MW green‑hydrogen pilot, and a transmission order book now worth ₹71,779 crore. Adani Power aims to raise generation capacity to 42 GW by 2032, while a digital‑infrastructure programme targets a 2 GW data‑centre platform by 2030, with a partnership with Google for a large data‑centre in Visakhapatnam.

Financially, the Adani Group reported FY 2025‑26 consolidated revenue of ₹2.92 lakh crore, up 7.4% year‑on‑year, and post‑tax profit grew 13.9% to ₹46,377 crore. The group's flagship company, Adani Enterprises, completed a rights issue of ₹24,930 crore, signaling investor confidence despite recent scrutiny.
