Gaza casualties exceed 1,500 since October 2025 ceasefire

Since the ceasefire agreement in October 2025, Israeli attacks in the Gaza Strip have resulted in over 1,500 Palestinian deaths and more than 5,300 injuries, according to health authorities in Gaza.

Recent reports indicate that five Palestinians were killed and 18 others were injured in the last 24 hours. Gaza health officials noted that 838 bodies have been recovered from areas where Israeli troops withdrew following the agreement. Currently, Israeli forces are positioned along a “yellow line” that covers more than 60% of the Gaza Strip.

Since the start of the military offensive following the October 7, 2023, attacks, the cumulative death toll in Gaza has reached approximately 74,392, with 175,440 injuries reported. UN researchers have raised concerns regarding patterns of annexation and dispossession of the population.
