Gaza ceasefire breaches cause 13 deaths and dozens injured in 24 hours

Israeli forces continued to violate the Gaza ceasefire, carrying out shootings, artillery strikes, tank incursions and bulldozing operations in the Khan Younis and Deir al‑Balah areas. In the latest 24‑hour period, eight Palestinians were killed and twenty injured, and five more deaths were reported in separate incidents, bringing the death toll for that day to 13.

Since the ceasefire began on 11 October 2023, Palestinian health authorities say more than 1,185 civilians have been killed and 3,816 wounded, with cumulative figures rising to tens of thousands. The ongoing violations underscore the persistence of the conflict despite the truce.
