Gaza civilians face escalating Israeli strikes, increasing deaths and injuries

Since the October cease‑fire announcement, violence in Gaza has continued. The Palestinian Ministry of Health says about 1,200 Palestinians have been killed and more than 3,800 injured since 11 October, with June recorded as the deadliest month of the year so far, accounting for 121 deaths. Minutes later, a helicopter missile hit an apartment in al‑Sousi Tower, killing Abdullah ‘Adnan Abu al‑Teif, his pregnant wife Abeer Kamal Kazem Abu al‑Teif and their seven‑year‑old son Azzam, with the fetus later recovered from the rubble. These attacks accompany tighter movement restrictions and a worsening humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip.
