Gaza death toll exceeds 73,400 amid ongoing military operations

The death toll in the Gaza Strip has surpassed 73,400, according to the Ministry of Health. In the last 24 hours, seven Palestinians were killed and 23 others were injured. The ministry reported that many victims remain trapped under rubble or on roads, inaccessible to ambulance and civil defense teams.

Beyond the casualties, Israeli military actions have caused extensive damage, affecting approximately 90 percent of Gaza’s civilian infrastructure. The United Nations estimates that reconstruction costs will reach roughly $70 billion.

In the West Bank, Israeli forces have continued a siege on three Palestinian homes in the town of Qusra for nine consecutive days. The blockade in the Ras al-Ain area has prevented the distribution of food, water, and basic supplies to approximately 13 people. While municipal authorities and international institutions managed to distribute some essential supplies, local officials described the situation as difficult. The military operation, originally scheduled to end sooner, was extended through Tuesday evening, with reports indicating that a local home was converted into a military barracks.
