Gaza death toll reaches 74,540 amid ongoing military operations

Medical sources report that the death toll in the Gaza Strip has risen to 74,540, with 175,678 injuries recorded since October 7, 2023. Recent updates include the addition of 42 fatalities following the verification of data by the Martyrs' Accreditation Committee.

In the last 24 hours, hospitals received 10 deceased individuals and 62 injured persons. Recent military activity includes artillery shelling targeting residential homes in eastern Gaza City, drone strikes in the Al-Rimal neighborhood, and intense gunfire and explosions in areas including Beit Lahia, Khan Younis, and Deir al-Balah.

Reports indicate that several victims remain trapped under rubble or on roads due to the inability of rescue teams to reach them. Specific incidents include the death of an eight-year-old girl in Deir al-Balah and fatalities resulting from gunfire and airstrikes across the northern, central, and southern sectors of the Gaza Strip.
