Gaza: Five Palestinians killed in Israeli military operations

At least five Palestinians, including a 12-year-old boy, were killed on Thursday during Israeli military operations in the Gaza Strip, according to local emergency services.

In central Gaza, the Gaza Civil Defense reported that the child died from Israeli gunfire east of the Al Bureij refugee camp. Two additional deaths were reported in separate attacks within the Al Zawayda municipality. In the Al Shati refugee camp near Gaza City, an Israeli drone missile strike killed Mohamed Qushawi and seriously injured two others, who were transported to Al Shifa medical complex.

Further south and west of Gaza City, emergency services reported the death of a woman due to Israeli gunfire and a fifth fatality resulting from a drone strike.

The Israeli military confirmed conducting three military operations in the area, stating they targeted “Hamas terrorists,” though they did not provide specific details regarding the identities or affiliations of the deceased. The military also stated it had no knowledge of the specific incidents involving the deaths of the child and the woman.
