Zaher al-Wahidi, director of the Health Information Centre, described the situation as a “full-scale health genocide,” noting that facilities have become isolated structures that are “slowly dying.” The UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) corroborated these concerns, stating that shortages of essential supplies like engine oil threaten the power supply for hospitals, blood banks, and water sanitation facilities.
