Gaza humanitarian aid supply collapses amid blockades and funding shortages

The humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip is reaching a critical breaking point as aid deliveries collapse. The World Food Programme has been forced to drastically reduce essential assistance due to a combination of acute funding shortages and significant obstacles at border crossings.

Only a small fraction of required aid trucks are reaching those in need. Aid organizations warn that essential staples, such as flour, have become extremely scarce, threatening the survival of hundreds of thousands of people. The breakdown of distribution mechanisms and blocked delivery routes is occurring just as a wet winter approaches, further increasing the pressure on the civilian population.
