Gaza sees three new Palestinian fatalities in Israeli attacks

Israeli forces continued air, artillery and drone strikes across the Gaza Strip, killing three Palestinians. Two men were killed near Yemen es‑Said Hospital in North Gaza and another died at Hayr 2 camp west of Khan Yunis. The Gaza Health Ministry says the ceasefire that began on 11 October has already caused 1,180 Palestinian deaths and 3,810 injuries, with a total of 73,305 killed and 173,918 wounded since 7 October.

In a separate strike, North Gaza’s security chief, Major General Abdulnasir Muhammad El‑Makadem (54), was killed by an Israeli air attack in the Sheikh Ridwan neighbourhood. The General’s death marks a high‑level targeting of Palestinian security officials despite the truce. Israeli officials have not commented on the incidents, while Palestinian authorities accuse the attacks of breaching the ceasefire and worsening humanitarian conditions.

Overall, the violence has further strained the already dire situation in Gaza, with continued disputes over the implementation of the ceasefire agreement and the safety of civilian and security personnel alike.
