Gaza Strip: At least 10 killed in Israeli airstrikes

At least ten people were killed in recent Israeli military strikes across the Gaza Strip. Health authorities in Gaza reported that nine of the deaths occurred during a strike on a police station in Gaza City. Al-Shifa Hospital in the northern Gaza Strip confirmed receiving nine bodies, including a woman and a 13-year-old girl, along with more than 20 injured individuals.

The Israeli military stated that the strikes targeted Hamas commanders and a ‘gathering of terrorists’ at the police station, which included four members of Hamas and one from the Popular Resistance Committees. The military claimed measures were taken to avoid civilian harm.

In central Nuseirat, an Israeli strike reportedly targeted a Hamas military wing official linked to the October 7, 2023, attacks. Additionally, Al-Awda Hospital reported receiving the body of a man killed in the Nuseirat refugee camp while riding a motorcycle.
