Gaza Strip faces widespread Israeli artillery shelling and military movements
Israeli military operations, including heavy artillery shelling and gunfire, have continued across the Gaza Strip, affecting areas from the north to the south. In central Gaza, artillery targeted the northeastern areas of the Al-Bureij camp, where the military also constructed an earthen barrier. In the north, intense shelling and tank fire were reported in Beit Lahia and Jabalia, causing panic among residents.
In southern Gaza, Israeli tanks and artillery targeted areas east of Khan Yunis and north of Rafah. Reports indicate that military movements and the construction of earthen barriers have isolated certain areas, such as Qizani Rashwan and Al-Najjar, from Khan Yunis.
Medical sources reported that the death toll from the ongoing conflict has reached 73,386, with 174,250 injured since October 7, 2023. Amidst the military activity, Hamas stated its commitment to a roadmap discussed in Cairo, calling on mediators and the United States to pressure the Israeli government to adhere to peace processes.
