Gaza Strip: Five killed, including a child, in Israeli strike

Five people were killed in the Gaza Strip when an Israeli strike hit the Al‑Mawasi area of the southern Gaza Strip, according to local medical officials and the Hamas-affiliated Palestinian civil defence. Among the dead was a child. The same strike was reported to have injured dozens more. The incident comes amid ongoing hostilities despite a cease‑fire declared in October, with the Palestinian health ministry reporting over 1,045 Palestinian deaths since the truce began, while Israel reports six of its own fatalities.
