Gaza Strip: Israeli drone strikes kill six Palestinians despite ceasefire
Israeli drone and helicopter strikes have killed at least six Palestinians across the Gaza Strip, according to medical and emergency workers. The attacks occurred in various locations, including northern, central, and southern Gaza, despite a United States-brokered ceasefire that went into effect on October 10, 2025.
Specific incidents reported include a drone strike near al-Faluja cemetery west of Jabalia, an attack in the al-Mawasi area of Rafah, and strikes in the Tuffah neighbourhood of northeast Gaza City. In northern Gaza City, medical sources reported deaths resulting from drone fire in the Al-Tawam area and injuries caused by a helicopter strike near the Bahloul Junction.
Gaza’s Health Ministry reported that 1,511 Palestinians have been killed and 5,375 injured since the ceasefire began. Since the start of the conflict in October 2023, Palestinian officials state that more than 74,000 people have been killed and 175,000 wounded, with approximately 90% of the enclave’s infrastructure destroyed.
