Gazment Bardhi criticizes SPAK over Belinda Balluku investigation

Gazment Bardhi, leader of the Democratic Party parliamentary group, has criticized the Special Anti-Corruption Structure (SPAK) regarding its handling of former Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku. Following an investigation by the program ‘Fiks Fare’, Bardhi alleged that Balluku continues to exert de facto control over the Ministry of Infrastructure and its subordinate institutions, influencing decision-making, hiring, and tenders despite no longer holding official office.

Bardhi accused SPAK of failing to apply the law, noting that while the agency has released information regarding Balluku being under investigation for corruption, money laundering, and concealment of assets, she remains free. He called for the judicial system to apply consistent standards and for the immediate implementation of legal protocols regarding her status.
