GCash expands digital asset access via GCrypto

GCash has expanded its digital asset capabilities through GCrypto, a platform powered by the Philippine Digital Asset Exchange (PDAX). The service allows users in the Philippines to set up cryptocurrency accounts quickly and trade up to 55 different cryptocurrencies directly within the mobile application.

The platform aims to lower barriers to entry by offering seamless fiat-to-crypto conversion with zero cash-in fees. Users can manage their portfolios 24/7, utilizing features such as direct transfers to and from external crypto wallets and exchanges without the need for complex peer-to-peer workarounds or liquidation.
