GCC and Czech trade initiatives focus on industrial growth and water management

The Made in GCC Forum & Exhibition 2026 is scheduled to take place from October 6 to 8, 2026, at Exhibition World Bahrain. Organized by the Bahraini Ministry of Industry and Commerce in collaboration with the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Secretariat, the event aims to foster industrial and economic cooperation among GCC nations. The forum will connect the public sector, investors, and technology companies, focusing on themes such as industrial integration, supply chain resilience, green manufacturing, and infrastructure.

In a separate development regarding bilateral trade, the Czech Embassy in Rabat is organizing a business mission for Czech water management companies to Morocco in October 2026. Following discussions between Czech officials and Morocco’s Ministry of Equipment and Water, Morocco identified key needs in water treatment, desalination, wastewater recycling, and drought prevention. Additionally, a collaborative project involving the Czech Technical University (CVUT) is preparing to deliver pilot devices for atmospheric water generation to a Moroccan research institute to support regions facing water scarcity.
