Gdańsk City Council Holds Open Day for Residents and Tourists

On Saturday 13 June 2026, the New Town Hall in Gdańsk (Wały Jagiellońskie 1) opened its doors from 10:00 to 14:00 for the 21st edition of the Gdańsk City Council Open Day. Visitors could tour the building, including the Council Chamber, meet councilors, and learn about municipal work.

The programme featured guided tours, games, contests, artistic performances, a photo booth, and educational stations on ecology presented by the city waste‑management firm and the Clean Energy Port. Uniformed services – Border Guard, Police and Municipal Guard – displayed equipment and staged a fire‑extinguishing demonstration. Family attractions included cotton candy, popcorn and activities for children organized by the local zoo and the PTTK guide club.
