Poland implements various student scholarships and educational grants

Various educational support programs and scholarship awards are being implemented across Poland for students and preschools.

A new support program for outstanding youth from rural areas is being introduced, offering monthly stipends of 400 PLN for pupils and 500 PLN for students, with potential increases for those in difficult financial situations. Additionally, the ORLEN Foundation is recruiting for the ‘Mogę więcej’ program, providing one-time payments of 3,500 PLN to minors and 4,500 PLN to adults with experience in foster care to support their educational and personal development.

Local governments are also recognizing academic and extracurricular excellence. In Gdynia, 37 high school graduates received scholarships for achievements in science, art, and sports. In the Zgorzelec District, over 80 students were awarded stipends for high grades or national-level sporting success. Other local initiatives include awards from the Mayor of Żelechów and the Mayor of Gizałki for high-achieving students.

In environmental education, the ‘Ekoprzedszkolak 2026’ pilot program has selected 75 projects to receive funding from the Provincial Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management in Katowice. These grants will allow preschools to create botanical gardens and sensory spaces to foster ecological awareness in young children.
