Gdynia invests 4.5 million PLN in new fire service facility

A new warehouse and maneuver yard are being constructed at the Rescue and Firefighting Unit No. 4 in Gdynia Wielki Kack. The investment, costing over 4.55 million PLN, is part of the 2025-2026 Population Protection and Civil Defense Program.

The project aims to strengthen the logistical capabilities of the Municipal Headquarters of the State Fire Service in Gdynia. The new facility will allow for the secure storage and rapid deployment of equipment necessary for responding to floods, fires, infrastructure failures, and natural disasters. Construction is currently in the preparatory stage, including earthworks and surveying, with completion scheduled for the end of November 2026.
