GE Vernova secures onshore wind turbine deals in Germany
GE Vernova has secured agreements to supply 71.5 MW of onshore wind turbines for various projects in Germany. The deals, which were booked in the fourth quarter of 2025, involve two distinct customers: BBWind, a community wind developer based in Muenster, and Greenvolt Power, a large-scale renewable energy firm.
These agreements support Germany’s national target to generate 80 percent of its electricity from renewable sources by 2030. GE Vernova intends to utilize its Salzbergen manufacturing facility and European supply chain to fulfill these orders and meet the growing demand for wind capacity in the region.
