GE Vernova sees shifting earnings estimates and increased institutional investment
GE Vernova is seeing significant activity across its financial metrics and investor interest. Analyst H. Engel of Erste Group Bank recently reduced the company's FY2027 earnings per share estimate to $24.55 from a previous forecast of $24.64. Despite this adjustment, the company maintains a massive contracted backlog of $176.3 billion and provides approximately 25% of the world’s electricity.
Institutional interest in the company remains active. Silicon Valley Capital Partners significantly increased its stake in GE Vernova by 2,636.9% during the second quarter, bringing its total holdings to 11,057 shares valued at approximately $12.99 million. Other firms, including Anchor Investment Management LLC and Bullseye Investment Management LLC, also adjusted their positions in the company during the same period.
In the broader energy sector, GE Vernova is positioned alongside emerging players like Oklo, a pre-revenue nuclear startup. While Oklo has secured non-binding agreements with entities like Switch and Meta, GE Vernova continues to operate at a commercial scale to meet surging global electricity demand.
