GE Vernova selected for Queensland Supernode battery project

GE Vernova has been selected as a key technology partner for the third stage of the Queensland Supernode battery energy storage system project in Australia. The company will provide power conversion systems, plant controls, system integration support, and grid connection expertise to support the Queensland power network.

The project has achieved Generator Performance Standards acceptance, a regulatory milestone necessary for integration into the Australian national grid. This contract supports Australia’s ongoing expansion of utility-scale battery infrastructure.

In separate market activity, GE Vernova shares experienced a 1.5% decline during mid-day trading, with the stock trading at approximately $942.69. Despite the price dip, several analysts have maintained positive outlooks, including recent price target increases from Oppenheimer and Guggenheim.
