Geely Auto expands Spanish presence through new dealerships and Ford partnership
Geely Auto Group is expanding its presence in Spain, specifically within the Valencian Community and the Ebre region. In the Ebre area, Autoforum Tortosa and the Pons Group have introduced the brand, focusing on technology, efficiency, and sustainability. The brand leverages technology from associated manufacturers such as Volvo, Polestar, Lynk & Co, and Zeekr to offer competitive pricing and high-quality materials.
To support its operations, Geely utilizes a spare parts distribution center in Guadalajara to supply Europe, aiming to have 99% of necessary parts available for authorized workshops within 24 hours.
In the Valencian Community, Geely is seeing gradual growth in vehicle registrations. In the first eight months of 2026, the brand registered 205 units in the region, with Valencia accounting for nearly half of those sales. This commercial expansion precedes a strategic agreement with Ford, where Geely will acquire a 34% stake in the Almussafes factory to begin local vehicle production.
