Geely has expanded its electric vehicle lineup in China with the debut of the Galaxy Cruiser 700 and a significant facelift for the Galaxy E5 (known globally as the EX5).
The Galaxy Cruiser 700 is available in six variants, ranging from a 1.5T 2WD Explorer Edition to a 2.0T Tri-Motor All-Wheel Drive Peak Edition. High-end configurations include a Land and Sea Version equipped with a nasal oxygen supply system and a central integrated gas source. Preorder prices range from RMB 199,800 to RMB 389,000, with power outputs expected to exceed 1,000hp across variants.
The facelifted Galaxy E5 has transitioned to a rear-wheel-drive layout and an 800-volt electrical architecture. Powered by a Thunder 16-in-1 motor producing 333 PS, the vehicle can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.8 seconds. Utilizing second-generation Aegis short blade LFP batteries, the model offers a CLTC range of up to 635 km. The update also significantly improves charging speeds, with DC fast charging capacity reaching 460 kW.
