Geely E2 electric city car to debut in France and Germany

Chinese automaker Geely will launch its compact electric model E2 in Europe, starting with France in September 2026. The French version is priced at €20,990 and offers two battery options – 35 kWh with a WLTP range of 252 km and 47 kWh delivering up to 345 km. Standard equipment includes level‑2 autonomous driving, a 14.6‑inch multimedia display, heated seats and a rear multi‑arm suspension. The car is built on Geely’s GEA platform and is powered by a single 115‑hp rear‑mounted motor.

In Germany the E2 is available for reservation at a starting price of €19,990, with the same battery choices and a maximum WLTP range of 345 km. Geely is supporting the launch with a €621 charging credit from EnBW. The company aims to open 70 dealerships in France by the end of the year and 170 by 2028, building on the model’s strong performance in China, where 460,000 units were sold in 2025.
