Geely E2 reaches 800,000 global sales amid European expansion

Geely’s compact electric vehicle, the E2 (EX2), has surpassed 800,000 global sales across more than 30 countries. The model has achieved significant market success, including being a top-selling passenger vehicle in China and a best-seller in the A&B vehicle segments in 2025.

Following launches in the UK and Australia, the E2 has expanded its European presence, debuting in Hungary before entering markets including France, the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, and Spain. Further European expansion is scheduled for the second half of 2026.

The vehicle has earned five-star safety ratings from both Euro NCAP and ANCAP under their latest 2026 assessment protocols. It features a suite of intelligent safety technologies, including a 5R5V sensing system, Driver Monitoring System (DMS), and Child Presence Detection (CPD).

In terms of performance and value, the E2 is positioned as an affordable urban EV, priced at approximately 19,990 Euro. It features a rear-wheel-drive setup, a multi-link rear axle, and a compact 4.14-meter length designed for urban maneuverability. While noted for its high level of standard equipment and spacious interior, reviews suggest it is optimized for daily urban use rather than precision driving.
