Geely EX2 sets record with nearly 61,000 monthly global sales

Geely Auto Group has reached a significant milestone in the electric vehicle (EV) market, with its Geely EX2 model recording 60,955 global sales in August 2026. This performance reflects a broader trend toward mass-market EV adoption as technology becomes more cost-effective.

During the same period, Geely Auto Group sold a total of 270,194 vehicles, representing an 8% increase compared to the previous year. Of these, 175,877 were categorized as ‘New Energy’ vehicles, including both fully electric and hybrid models, marking a 19% year-on-year increase. The group also saw a massive surge in international demand, with global exports rising by 205% to 110,094 units, specifically seeing a 446% increase in the export of new energy models.
