Geely expands automotive presence in Brazil and Portugal

Geely is advancing its global automotive presence through strategic technological integration in Brazil and market expansion in Portugal.

In Brazil, Renault Geely do Brasil (RGdB) hosted the second Comau Tech Day. The event focused on advanced automation and manufacturing innovation, featuring technical presentations on artificial intelligence, vision systems, and energy management. Partners such as Atlas Copco, AutoForm, and Rockwell Automation shared insights on using AI for digital factories and curbing energy waste during vehicle production.

Simultaneously, Geely has officially launched in Portugal through a partnership with the Salvador Caetano Group. The launch included the debut of the Geely E2, a compact 100% electric model, joining the existing E5 and Starray EM-i SUV models in the Portuguese market. The Geely E2, which features various battery options and advanced driver assistance systems, is expected to arrive in the market during the final quarter of 2026.
