Overview

By late September 2026, Geely significantly accelerated its industrial and regional expansion. In Brazil, the alliance between Geely and Renault Group commenced local production of the Geely EX5 EM-i Super Hybrid at the Ayrton Senna Industrial Complex in Curitiba. This is part of a planned R$ 5.8 billion investment cycle between 2025 and 2027 to support electrified vehicle production, including the Geely EX2 electric hatchback. To enhance its SUV lineup, Geely introduced a new EX5 version featuring an 800V architecture and up to 333 hp.

Beyond Latin America, Geely officially entered the Portuguese market through a partnership with the Salvador Caetano Group. The launch included the E5 and Starray EM-i SUV models, with the compact electric E2 expected to arrive in the final quarter of 2026.
