Geely expands Hungarian presence with new Budapest showroom

Geely is expanding its presence in the Hungarian automotive market through a new retail partnership. The Schiller Autó family has opened an innovative shop-in-shop sales point for Geely models at the MediaMarkt location in Budapest’s Pólus Center.

This approximately 100-square-meter showroom aims to reach new customer segments by making the brand more accessible to those interested in consumer electronics. Since its introduction to the Hungarian market this spring, Geely has secured 17 dealership agreements, with expectations to reach 20 by the end of the year. The brand reported sales of 500 units in its first few months, and the importer aims to become one of the top three most popular Chinese automotive brands in Hungary within its first year.

To support this growth, Schiller Autó is investing several hundred million forints to expand its Váci út facility in Budapest, with a new showroom expected to open this autumn.
