Geely launches Galaxy TT electric sedan in China
Geely has commenced pre-orders for the Galaxy TT, a new mid-to-large electric sedan in China. The vehicle features an 800V high-voltage electrical system and utilizes Shenxing TT batteries developed in partnership with CATL.
During testing near Qinghai Lake, the vehicle achieved a consumption rate of 8.2 kWh/100 km. The Galaxy TT is available in several configurations:
• Rear-wheel drive (RWD) models: These include options with 52.4 kWh and 63.8 kWh batteries, offering CLTC ranges of 540 km and 640 km respectively. The RWD motor produces 245 kW (approximately 333 hp). • All-wheel drive (AWD) Ultra model: This version features dual motors producing a combined 425 kW (approximately 578 hp), a 75.2 kWh battery, and a 0–100 km/h acceleration time of 3.8 seconds.
Pricing for the RWD models starts at 145,900 yuan, while the AWD Ultra variant is priced at 209,800 yuan.
