Geely launches Galaxy TT electric sedan in China
Geely Auto has officially launched the Galaxy TT electric sedan in China, offering competitive introductory pricing to strengthen its position in the electric vehicle market. The lineup includes five variants, with limited-time prices starting at 129,900 yuan ($19,170) and reaching up to 185,900 yuan.
The Galaxy TT features an 800-volt high-voltage platform and comes standard with customized Shenxing TT lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries from CATL, supporting 6C fast charging. This technology allows for significant range recovery in short periods, with charging from 10% to 80% taking approximately 11 to 12 minutes.
Performance and handling are central to the model's design. The four rear-wheel-drive variants utilize a single motor producing 245 kW, while the high-performance Ultra all-wheel-drive variant delivers a combined output of 425 kW and can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds. The vehicle's chassis development involved the Lotus Europe team to optimize sporty handling. Additionally, the lineup incorporates LiDAR-based assisted driving solutions and a low drag coefficient of 0.22.
