Geely launches Galaxy TT electric sedan with up to 725 km (451 mi) range

Geely has unveiled the Galaxy TT, a new all‑electric fastback sedan built on its 800‑volt platform. The model offers two powertrain options: a single‑motor rear‑wheel‑drive producing 333 hp and a dual‑motor all‑wheel‑drive delivering 578 hp. Battery packs from CATL range from 52.4 kWh to 75.2 kWh, giving a CLTC‑rated driving range of 540 km to 725 km (336–451 mi) on a single charge.

Key features include LED front lighting, integrated lidar, an augmented‑reality head‑up display, an active rear spoiler that generates 114 lb of downforce, and a built‑in 5.5‑quart refrigerator‑heater combo. The interior provides a 3.9‑cubic‑foot front trunk, multi‑level rear cargo space, 18‑ or 19‑inch wheels, and extensive driver‑assist equipment. The vehicle measures 4,999 mm long, 1,919 mm wide and 1,479 mm high, with a 2,920 mm wheelbase.

Sales are expected to begin in China in August 2026, with pricing to be announced later. The Galaxy TT positions Geely against rivals such as Xiaomi’s SU7 and reflects the rapid escalation of advanced features in Chinese electric‑vehicle offerings, a trend likely to influence the broader global EV market.
